Hello Chicago Renegade Craft Fair!

We’re back in the swing of craft & art show season things! And we couldn’t be more excited to be heading to Chicago, IL for the always amazing (and always free!) Renegade Craft Fair – Chicago edition, happening this Saturday & Sunday September 7th & 8th from 11am – to 7pm, both days.

The Renegade Craft Fair brings together over 300 of the best of the best of handmade makers and artists from all corners, setting up booths to meet, greet, and sell our work to the lovely people of the Midwest. This event is HUGE and not to be missed!

We will be there bright and early, and stayin’ late at Booth No. 6 (see our handy map below), so easy to find right near the corner of Division & Damen. Easy in, easy out. Come visit and say hello! We will have lots of hand illustrated and hand screenprinted Art Prints, Rock Posters, Alphabet Prints, Lunch Bear Bags, new greeting cards and more!

Can’t wait to see you this weekend Chicago!

Just a zippy reminder about the I Made It! For The Holidays show this weekend at Bakery Square in Shadyside.

It’s our last show of  2011 and we’re looking forward to going out with a bang. We’ll be vending with over 80 other artisans and crafty makers of awesome all offering our handmade works for sale for the holidays Handmade makes for special and fun holiday gifting!

The shopping & holiday festivities will include over 80 artisans, demonstrations, music and merriment as shoppers warm up from the cold, see friends and make new ones, and best of all, cross all of the names off of their holiday shopping lists.

I Made It! Holiday Market 12/2 & 12/3 – See you there!

Hooray! A great, local and locovore craft & art Holiday show is coming up! We’re thrilled to be a part of the 5th annual I Made It! For The Holidays, and this year’s show is going to be the best yet. Join us and over 80 other artisans and crafty vendors offering our handmade works for sale. Handmade makes for special and fun holiday gifting!

This year’s I Made It! Market, Holiday edition takes place on Friday evening, December 2nd from 5 – 10 pm and Saturday, December 3rd from 11 am – 6 pm at Bakery Square on Penn Avenue. And it’s totally free to attend! Parking is free too!

We will have tons of hand silkscreen printed art prints, alphabet prints, t-shirts, and rock posters and more on hand for gifts for friends, family, even you. That’s right! So come on over and say hi!

This is my all hand screenprinted, limted edition poster for Lotus‘ show with RJD2 & Junior Boys DJ Set on Saturday, November 28th, 2009 at Terminal 5 in NYC, NY.

Mega chillout Lotus psych-style. Reverberation, symmetry and green dreams.

This is my 4-color hand screenprinted poster with light-green, yellow, and black hand-mixed, non-toxic water based acrylic inks.I have a very imited number of this poster for sale, as most of the edition was sold by the band on the night of the show. Size: 16w x 22h inches. Edition of 125. Paper: acid-free & archival Cougar 100 lb White, cover weight.

Yeps! It was a great show, and sold out, did you go? The show was in the film theater of the Andy Warhol Museum, there was room for maybe about 150 people, so maybe you did and maybe you didn’t.  If you’re the latter, too bad. it was an awesome show, replete with jokes about dickery and private dressing rooms in one’s mind.

The above is my poster for the show, proudly a part of the A.C. Newman spring tour 2009 poster series for their show with The Broken West (they were lovely) on Saturday March 28th 2009 at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. Getting to do a hand screenprinted poster for any show at the Warhol Museum is a thrill in an “extension of a legacy” sort of way. If you feel me.

This swirling hypnotic psychedelia is my 4-color, all hand screenprinted poster with black, magenta & cyan inks. Overprint magic makes a pretty luscious violet. Edition of 150 Size: 16w x 22h inches. Paper: acid-free & archival Cougar 100 lb White, cover weight.

This poster was available on tour with the bands at the show and is now also available from my website here. And, if you enjoy geeking out as I do, there are some process photos of this poster on my Flickr page of this poster being printed.
