Designer Discard this Saturday!

DESIGNER DISCARD IS BACK!! This year Designer Discard is at Spirit Lodge from 11am – 4pm on Saturday April 28th, 2018.

Designer Discard is a one of a kind experience. Sort of like if all of your favorite local designers and makers had like, a giant yard sale, but way better. Because that’s EXACTLY what Designer Discard is. We only ask designers and artists to sell their handmade designer seconds, vintage items, & second hand goods. Be sure to come hungry for Spirit’s family-friendly brunch or treat yourself to an option from the bar.

What are we bringing? We will have a slew of our misprints and goofups for sale at extremely great awesome low prices. Come sift through minorly scuffed, dented, and ink splotched hand silkscreen printed pieces. Things that look great framed! But we can’t sell them online due to the individual nature of each piece. Exhibits below. ONE DAY ONLY!

The Spinto Band T-Shirt Design

Hooray! We recently got a chance to pair up with our friends in The Spinto Band to create a brand new t-shirt design for their new record Cool Cocoon‘s special pre-order sale. It’s our 2nd time working with these awesome dudes and we couldn’t be happier to do so. (See our tour poster for The Spintos here.)

Our mountain-fresh design is hand screen printed onto charcoal grey super soft American Apparel Tri-Blend Track tees (our favorites!) in both Men’s & Women’s sizes, these t-shirts go perfectly hand-in-hand with the gorgeous new cover of The Spinto Band’s forthcoming new album Cool Cocoon (available February 5th in the US).

These shirts are available exclusively at The Spinto Band‘s website and from the band directly as a part of their special pre-order sale.

Come join us at The Handmade Arcade!

Awww yeah! It’s The Handmade Arcade time again! What is The Handmade Arcade you ask? Silly goose. It’s Pittsburgh’s largest and best independent handmade crafts show. AKA Freaking Awesome. Crafters and artists from all over the country and even a few international peeps will be there selling all handmade, high-quality awesomeness. There are over 85 vendors – check out the list here – participaing in this year’s Handmade Arcade. That’s a ton, right? 

This event is extremely popular and well attended, last year over 7,000 people came to look, shop and be stoked! So don’t be a goofus and miss out, OK? 

We’ll be there! All posters will be $20! Yep, that’s right! That means a savings of $5-$80 on posters. That’s HUGE. We also have several new tshirt designs ready to go home with you that are not yet available on my website, (though check my Etsy store!) new art prints and lots of goodies as well as posters and prints. Please come say hello and introduce yourselves! I promise, we are more shy than you are. Honest Abe we are.
