West Elm Bakery Square #WeLoveLocal Makers Event

Earlier this fall we were very excited to announce a new strawberryluna + West Elm partnership as a part of the opening selection of Local, Pittsburgh & PA Makers in their #WeLoveLocal program. West Elm Pittsburgh at Bakery Square is proud to support Pennsylvania artisans + artisan-made products and we are just as proud to be a part of the West Elm family!

To that end, Pittsburgh friends – come hang out with us tomorrow evening November, 6, 2014 from 6pm – 9pm at the new West Elm store at Bakery Square. Join us as well as many of the other PA & Pittsburgh Local Makers for a fun interactive evening to meet the makers of our LOCAL collection.

Super Friends Indie Artists Last Minute Christmas Market TOMORROW on 12/14

Well, it’s that time of year. Full of Holiday parties and Holiday Cheer.

Come join us for our very last show of the year THIS Saturday (ONLY!) for hours (ONLY) at the First Annual Super Friends Independent Artists Last Minute Christmas Market (and beer) Show! Hosted by CommonWealth Press at theCommonWealth Press Warehouse (not the retail shop!)

The basic premise is this:

  • We have some wicked talented best friends who do shows all year long all over the country.
  • You probably have a few gifts left to procure.
  • So why not have fun and find something special in a super chill, low-key fun environment in Pittsburgh and pick up some handmade, crafted right here in not only the USA, but in Pittsburgh by local and crazy talented artists.
  • Have some fun, drink a craft brew beer, and bring your friends and family.

“The last minute Christmas market is sponsored by a few local artists. Come shop for some crafts, hang w friends. drink some beer. family friendly.

Wares by strawberryluna, garbella, Nick Caruso, Alternate Histories, Sapling Press, CommonWealth Press, Mike Budai everyday balloons, Suz Pisano, redraven studios,

Maybe more, maybe less. who knows….we will keep you posted.”

Where: At the CommonWealth Press Warehouse (not retail shop!) located at 2315 Wharton St‎. Pittsburgh, PA 15203 on the South Side.

When: Saturday December 14th, from 2pm – 6pm (ish) and ONLY!

Why: Because Friends are neato and Handmade is best.
